Can't Wait For Summer!!

Well, it appears I haven't blogged in quite some time so thought I would write a little something this morning before heading out the door to work.

I am quite happy this morning and officially looking forward to summer!! Although the weather is still chilly here in Thunder Bay and snow remains on the ground, my thoughts are on summer and my annual trek back home to Newfoundland!!

I booked my flight this morning through AirMiles® and paid virtually nothing for my travel...only $250 return! I depart from Thunder Bay on July 2/09 and return on July 29/09, with almost 4 weeks of rest, relaxation and partying in between!!! I can't wait!!

Like every year, I will visit with my family, go sight-seeing and on whale watching tours and just hang out (and party) with my family and best friend, Nicole and her fiancé Mike!! I also have my cousin's wedding to attend this year, so I'm sure that will be one hell of a party also!!

So come on summer!!! I'm ready for ya!!! 119 more sleeps and counting down!! Can you just feel my excitemtent!!! LOL.

Well today is Valentine's Day...and being a single woman...it really has no bearing on my life other than the fact that it's a day for lovers and I don't have one!! LOL. Ah...there's always next year right!?!? LOL.

So, to all those who have someone special in your life...Happy Valentine's Day! Remember to hold on tight to them and tell them you love them! And to those of us who belong to the "Lonely Hearts Club," have a drink on me!!

My Very First Blog!!

Well...like the title of this post says...this if my very first blog! Can you believe it?! I know! I know! Where have I been and what have I been doing? LOL. Well obviously I haven't been blogging! But we all have to start somewhere right?! LOL. And with the start of a new year, comes the beginning of a new era for me...so bring on the blogging! I'm so excited! LOL.

But what I'm most excited about is that within a couple of months or so...the blog that didn't exist a few minutes ago...will have a brand new look!! I entered a contest at TBK Designs and was the lucky winner of a free Ready2Go Blog face lift by a very talented lady by the name of Pamela...from The Posh Box!! Pamela does some fantastic web and blog designing and I look forward to working with her over the next couple of months on a new look for my new blog!! Thanks Pamela!!
